Autoguided: using QHY5 autoguider on Celestron Short Tube 80 Refractor

Paramount GT-1100S German Equatorial Mount (with MKS 4000)

Image Acquired using Maxim DL, stacked with Deep Sky Stacker and processed with Photoshop CS4

A large planetary nebula in the constellation Aquarius.

One of the closest planetary nebulae at an estimated distance of 700 light-years. Since the magnificent images by the Hubble, The Helix Nebula has been often referred to as the Eye of God.
